Autorenporträt
Dr. Sabine Thümmler, Kunsthistorikerin, promovierte 1987 über ein ornamentgeschichtliches Thema; 1986 bis 1989 Kostümbildnerin am Schauspiel Bonn. Seit 1990 für Leitung des Deutschen Tapetenmuseums und seit 2006 für Leitung der Sammlungsabteilung Angewandte Kunst der Museumslandschaft Hessen Kassel verantwortlich.
