The formation and development of market relations in post-perestroika Russia is largely determined by the high dynamics of real estate, which actively joined the civil circulation as a result of privatization processes. In view of the peculiarities of real estate objects the legislator has established a special legal regime with regard to this commodity. In spite of this, the legal regulation of the real estate purchase and sale agreement currently has certain gaps which slow down the development of the real estate market in Russia.
