Dr. L. K. Hazarika former Dean and presently Professor and Head, Department of Entomology, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat obtained Ph.D. degree from Rutgers University, USA in 1986 and published more than 150 scientific papers including one in the Annual Review of Entomology. Gender-specific immunocompetence is his major contributiion.
