The results obtained from nasopharyngeal samples were amplified by RT-PCR for the diagnosis of hMPV the percentage of samples were positive for the virus (53%) from (100) specimens.

Wurood Kadhim Abed Al-khalidy holds a bachelor¿s degree from the College of Science, University of Kufa, in life sciences, and a master¿s degree in microbiology, College of Science, University of Kufa. She worked at Imam Sadiq University and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and taught at Jaber bin Hayyan University of Medical and Pharmacy.
