Understanding the implications of dental trauma in an individual's life is important for educational strategies to be established. In the preschool stage, implications go beyond the occurrence of trauma or its clinical consequences. Therefore, the implementation of educational strategies aimed at parents/caregivers is necessary, with strict guidelines that, if dental trauma occurs, they are informed that seeking professional management is important. Based on these articles, we could observe that the negative impact of OHRQoL is very different on children and adolescents. Adolescents are more affected. These studies concluded that complicated traumatic dental injuries have a negative impact on the Oral Health-Related Quality of Life of preschool children and their parents.
