Covid-19 Pandemic affected the economy adversely in various dimensions all over the world. It affected the various sectors of the economy like the primary sector, secondary sector and tertiary sector. India as a developing country with a high rate of population definitely had a negative impact during the lockdown period and also the period after lock down. The daily wage workers belong to the long income household sector in our society. They are working in the unorganized sectors of the economy. The pandemic very much affected the necessary day to day economic life of these people. It affected their spending and saving habits of the poor and considerably reduced the consumption of goods. It is imperative to study how the lockdown affected the livelihood of these groups of people in the society.
