To assess the impact of Covid-19 on exports, we first analyzed the situation of Ivorian exports before the pandemic. Second, we attempted to capture the effects of Covid-19 on exports by analyzing the situation of exports in the year the measures came into effect. Finally, we used the interrupted time series model to capture the impact of the measures implemented on exports. This analysis shows that the Covid-19 had the effect of reducing Ivorian exports, both in value and quantity. This means a drop in monthly exports of 47% in value and 74.7% in volume compared to the months preceding the pandemic. However, this is a one-time shock, as we are seeing a fairly rapid recovery before the end of the year. Some products such as cocoa and industrial supplies have not been significantly impacted by the crisis. There has also been a significant drop in demand from Ivorian client countries, specifically those most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
