A conceptualization of emotions is included with various definitions according to different authors and the relationship between emotions and Emotional Intelligence. In order to confirm the importance of emotions in the early childhood classroom, reference will be made to regulations, as well as the physiological bases of emotions. Then, the impact and regulation of emotions during the confinement period will be analyzed. Language and social relationships have been affected during the pandemic, and this has influenced the emotions of infant students, so reflections on this are added. At the same time, relationships and reflections are established between the information presented and the experience lived in the educational centers during the pandemic, such as the influence of the family, and the importance of establishing social relationships. The purpose of this research is to help the positive development of emotions, since, as Lupercio Leonardo de Argensola states "Books have won more battles than weapons".
