L'auteur a obtenu une maîtrise et un doctorat en zoologie et s'est qualifiée pour le CSIR UGC NET dans le domaine des sciences de la vie. Elle a 24 ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement et la recherche, 35 publications de recherche, 3 livres et 2 brevets. Elle est actuellement professeur adjoint de zoologie et guide de recherche au PDEA's Prof. Ramkrishna More ACS College, Akurdi, Pune, Inde.
