First, we will evaluate the main policies undertaken by Morocco in terms of renewable energy and energy efficiency4. Finally, this strong synergy sub-study will be deepened through the elaboration of a concrete case study of solar water heaters "Shemsi5 project" launched by ADEREE.

Chouaib Benqlilou es profesor en la Escuela Nacional Superior de Minas de Rabat. Se doctoró en "Ingeniería de Procesos y Medio Ambiente" en la Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. Como resultado de sus investigaciones científicas, fue galardonado con el premio extraordinario de doctores en ingeniería de procesos, térmica y de materiales.
