Family breakdown is at the root of mental disorders in many families in Goma, North Kivu, of patients interned at the CHNP. Among the triggering factors we have the separation of parents, marital conflicts, marital infidelity, alcohol abuse, marital abandonment, fighting in the home, blended families, irresponsibility of parents, etc., are sources of family destructuring and mental disorders. In terms of strategies, we have: the awareness of the spouses, to follow psychotherapy, to ensure the responsibilities, the positive management of the marital conflicts, to promote the family meetings, the dialogues within the couple, etc., are proposed tracks. In addition, we chose to visit teachers in the city of Butembo, in the province of North Kivu, in order to highlight what they have to say about HIV/AIDS prevention in their schools. The teachers encounter various constraints in the pedagogical situations they implement in the classroom. Hence the need for their professional effectiveness to be supported in a satisfactory manner.
