In Srilanka, throughout the last few decades, Microcredit has achieved notable growth in eradicating Poverty. However, on the other hand, the rate of suicide cases of Microcredit beneficiaries are also increasing. So what has been the cause for the inverse relationship that is being shared between Microcredit and Poverty Alleviation? This question prompted this study to be undertaken. This study has been explored systematically in Trincomalee D.S Division to identify the Impact of Microcredit on Poverty Alleviation with the objective of exploring the significance of Microcredit contribution that is influenced on Poverty Alleviation among Microcredit beneficiaries.This book is especially designed to explore the real problems face by the microfinance beneficiaries and to give a clear idea to microfinance institutions on where they need to take actions in order to get maximum utilization of their services.
