In Cameroon in general, whether in rural or urban areas, the problem of youth employment is real and remains worrying. Young people increasingly practice rural exodus to the detriment of agriculture in search of better living conditions, yet it is very important as it generates more than 60% of employment. The main objective of this study is to detect the impact of the profession of motorcycle taxi drivers in Cameroon on the availability of young agricultural labour. In order to better define this objective, it is first of all a question of identifying the reasons that motivate the rural exodus of young people so as to leave agriculture to the elderly. Then, to list the opinions of the Benskineurs on the agricultural profession, and finally to study their conditions for a possible return of the latter to agriculture. The method used in this work is cluster sampling and random sampling, in order to include all possible categories. The analysis is done on an Excel spreadsheet to highlight the average age of young Benskineurs by locality, as well as the different figures.
