Chesang holds a Masters of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Nairobi,has served as a senior social welfare officer in the ministry of health,administrator at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.He is currently teaching penology and sociology at Moi university and community development courses at African International College.
