Plant growth regulators like Gibberellic acid, Naphthalene acetic acid and chemical Thiourea was used to record its effect on the yield of specific variety of mungbean, GAM-5. It was resulted that GAM-5 recorded highest yield due to GA3 and nipping. Thus, recommendation of nipping treatment at 30 DAS and GA3 spray 25mg/l at 30 DAS can be given to farmers.
