FMUG is a pioneer in community-oriented, community-based medical education and social accountability in the region and is the leader of innovative medical education in Sudan. The student intake started in 1978, now the school has graduated batch number 33 (2016) and has already taken batch number 39. The number of graduates is 4327. This study provides evidence for the impact of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Gezira, Innovative Programme on its Graduates.
