The book presents the results of air pollution and noise measurements in the settlement of Mrdici, through which a part of the route for the external tailings disposal waste rock with PK "Grivice" RMU Banovici passes. The transportation of barren deposits is carried out by cargo trucks with a capacity of up to 154 t.The impact of truck transport on the environmental change of the local population of the Mrdici settlement was defined through the measurement of emissions of settling dust, total floating dust particles TSP, total suspended particles with a grain size below 10 µm, PM10, and…mehr

The book presents the results of air pollution and noise measurements in the settlement of Mrdici, through which a part of the route for the external tailings disposal waste rock with PK "Grivice" RMU Banovici passes. The transportation of barren deposits is carried out by cargo trucks with a capacity of up to 154 t.The impact of truck transport on the environmental change of the local population of the Mrdici settlement was defined through the measurement of emissions of settling dust, total floating dust particles TSP, total suspended particles with a grain size below 10 µm, PM10, and gaseous pollutants: CO2, CO, SO2, NOx, formaldehyde, acrolein and noise. The measurements showed that the primary pollution of the research area is caused by dust, which is also the most significant pollutant. The determined levels of elastic sound waves, i.e. the noise generated by the movement of means of transport, have a disruptive effect with a completely probable possibility of other harmful effects on the citizens residing in the "Mrdici" settlement.
