This project aims at modelling the impacts of industrial waste disposal in Cauvery River in Erode region. The main river which fall victim to the water pollution in Erode district is River Cauvery. Discharge of industrial effluents into the river affects the water quality and flow pattern of Cauvery. Regression analysis has been done for analyzing the impacts of industrial waste disposal into the Cauvery River. The corresponding changes in the flow pattern of the river due to the pollution load can be predicted for the future periods.
