One of the albatrosses of Presidential system of government copied from United States of America by Nigeria is the impeachment clause. For politicians in Nigeria, it is an easier alibi for removing, at will, an unwanted Chief executive, Senate presidents, Speakers of House of Representatives, Governors and Speakers of States' Houses of Assemblies, Local Government Chairmen, and the Speakers of the local legislative councils. Bypassing the constitutional procedure for removing Chief executives at all levels of government in Nigeria, especially at local level, the heads of a large number of Chief executives, especially at the local government level, have rolled. Made of three chapters, the book focuses on impeachment procedures adopted in carrying out series of pseudo impeachments at all levels of government, and their various theatrics.
