God is sovereign over every nation and will raise up or destroy them on the basis of obedience or rebellion to His commands (Jer. 18:7-10). While God loves all people and desires to have a relationship with them throughout all eternity, He is also a just God who must punish sin. The only hope for any nation to survive is to live life from God's perspective, love God, love people, and hate evil (Prov. 9:10-11; 8:13; 24:3-4). Solomon's conclusion for happiness and contentment on this side of Heaven is "Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all" (Eccl. 12:13). Ron Alexander is grateful for his salvation in Jesus Christ and for the opportunities God has provided for him to share his faith with many people since his salvation in 1981.
