The inclusion of children with disabilities or special needs in education involves children with special needs having equal rights to an effective and accessible education. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals increased the emphasis on education for all and universal education for the first time, ranking sustainable inclusive education fourth among 14 goals. To achieve this aim, this study aims to explore the factors influencing implementation of inclusive education in primary schools in Nairobi County. The objectives of the study are: Impact of Leadership in successful implementation of inclusive education, stakeholder involvement in successful implementation of inclusive education and impact of resource allocation in successful implementation of inclusive education. This study uses a mixed research approach using both qualitative and quantitative methods. The study covers 5 public schools, 50 teachers, 5 headteachers and 5 education officers in Nairobi county, Kenya. 120 samples collected using simple sampling method were used to obtain the study sample. This corresponds to 30% of the target teachers recommended by Mugenda.
