Krishnachandra Bhattacharyya was Director, Indian Institute of Philosophy, Amalner. He was also George V Professor of Mental and Moral Philosophy, University of Calcutta. J.N. Mohanty (tr.) is Emeritus Professor, Deparment of Philosophy, Temple University, Philadelphia. He was also President of the Society for Asian and Comparitive Philosophy and Indian Philosophical Congress. Tara Chatterjea (tr.) works at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Kolkata.
