Since communities in the world wide are in the struggles to raise the status of families, the existence of teenage pregnancy among rural communities, are found to have triggered much life related problems which affect both teens and their families. Teenage pregnancy increases the burden to the country's economic development and is among the factors of demographic pressure, that is perceived to be a serious problem to the development programmes. This book details the implications of teenage pregnancy on the socio-economic development of rural communities in Rwanda, in which an analysis was made in both primary and secondary resources. Different perspectives have been demonstrated for deep explanation after the investigation and linked with major theories used in the work.

Muvunyi Jacques Organ is a Scientific Social researcher, Born 1989, from Eastern Province of Rwanda, He got his Bachelor's degree from National University of Rwanda in the Faculty of Social Sciences. He pursued Master's of science in Monitoring and Evaluation from Jomo Kenyatta University and Currently works as Program officer at Save the children.
