We have also discussed about other identifiers and biometrics in detail in order to establish the superiority of fingerprints.

Samayita Bhattacharya received B Tech ('06) & M Tech ('08) in Information Technology and currently is a PhD student of Computer Sc. & Engg. under guidance of Dr. Kalyani Mali who received B Tech ('87), M Tech ('89) & PhD ('05) degree in Computer Sc. & Engg.The author duo's research interests include image processing, biometrics and soft computing.
