Autorenporträt
Irene Roderick has been an artist for most of her life. She has painted and crafted for more than fifty years. In 2015, she fell in love with quilting and now focuses exclusively on this craft. Her quilts have been the subject of solo and traveling exhibitions and have won many awards including first place at QuiltCon 2020 in the Improv category. Her work can also be seen in magazines such as Curated Quilts and Simply Moderne. Irene runs workshops showcasing her unique technique she calls "dancing with the wall." She lives in Austin, Texas.
