In particular, the following problems have been formulated and solved: analysis of the main existing and prospective methods to increase the resistance of metal cutting tools and identification of disadvantages that limit the use of these methods in industry; experimental study of changes in the main factors and their impact on the wear of metal cutting tools; .prospects of development and methods of increase of system of firmness of the cutting tool at material processing on a turret-turning machine Index C 29; the plan and methods of carrying out of experimental researches are studied; research of main factors influence on metal cutting tool wear and its timely diagnostics; development and description of mathematical model of turning process.
