Did his Ph.D. in 2011 with specialization in Agronomy/Crop physiology from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan and a part of Ph.D. research from North Carolina State University, U.S.A. His program focuses on environmental stress physiology of agronomic crops to investigate the physiological mechanisms that drive crop stress tolerance.
