The fuzzy logic controller is an effective option to solve thermal power plant problems that cause damage some part of a plant & lead to sudden stop. The complexity of structure & non linearity for plant requires this type of control. In this study fuzzy logic was applied to control the boiler & turbine in order to handle faults that happen during the operation as well as to protect the parts from damage then enhance the efficiency & productivity of power. Fuzzy logic requires data, which is obtained from the Cycle Tempo program that has been used to analysis the mass & energy balance for Al - Dura station (K- 160-13.34-0.0068) as an example of thermal power plant. This program has calculated the energy & efficiency for each part so as to be compared with the actual results of the station. An electrical circuit was designed composed of sensors to control the important variables in the boiler & turbine. These controlled variables are temperature, pressure, air fuel ratio, gas & flame for the boiler, and for turbine like temperature, pressure, humidity and speed. The design and implementation of electrical circuit consist of two stages, the 1st is hardware part & the 2nd is software.
