It is environmentally, friendly and economical. So, this study presents a new concept of using shallow solar pond (SSP) to increase the fermentation and biogas production rate during cold climate; therefore a new application of SSP by the integrating with a developed biogas digester was investigated at the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University. The pre-constructed developed digester has been operated and evaluated compared to the conventional digester using dairy cattle dung. Due to the high productivity of the developed biogas digester, as well as a zero-waste engineering and environmentally sound system so this technology requires further more attention and study
