To be prepared for the challenges of the future, children will need skills that will give them control over their lives and learning processes. They will need knowledge, no doubt, but more importantly they will need the thinking skills required to search new knowledge and to produce their own knowledge. From this point of view, this study is mainly concerned with the role of authentic learning and authentic assessment in improving the critical thinking skills of 6th grade students. Providing educators and parents a new perspective in both learning and teaching; this is what this book has tried to do.
