In the school environment, the concern to contribute to the development of talent has become one of its primary objectives, and there are various educational responses that can be adopted to achieve this. The programs of deepening constitute a possible way to contribute to the development of all the capacities of the student body, within the framework of an inclusive school. This book aims to be a tool for schools and teachers to implement this specific measure, aimed at students with high intellectual abilities. Far from those conceptions that sustain that because of their exceptional abilities these students do not require an educational attention different from the ordinary one, the current regulatory framework contemplates that it is precisely their social, curricular and emotional needs that demand from the school system a differentiated response based on the principles of equity and quality.
