Married to Parker, and a former missionary, she is a mother of eight, step-mother of seven - they were never all in the house at the same time.

Retired from the high tech industry, she is currently writing her third memoir from her house next to a lake in Florida viewing lake, not swimming lake because, well, alligators.

Margaret says, "As I let go and let God, He gave me the most beautiful, unexpected life I didn't even know I wanted until I had it. "
