In His Time is a tear-jerking story of a young woman who was the epitome of extraordinary courage, determination, and strength in the most trying situations. Her dream of becoming a medical doctor was shattered at age nineteen when Irish was given the life-changing diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus. She went from being a healthy child to living a roller coaster life as she fought this chronic and debilitating disease. Six years later, in 2005, she survived the greatest nightmare when she was hospitalized for six weeks at Loma Linda University Medical Center-her life in the balance. How she survived the multisystem failure involving the kidney, lung, and heart is an incredible story to be told. Only the power of the Living God can do what we cannot in our helplessness. He is our only hope. He still performs miracles today and answers prayers just as He did in the past. Irish's battle for survival teaches us that miracles still happen, that God is always there, and that He will hold our hands as we traverse the sometimes dark and hopeless road ahead. Yes, there is light at the end of the tunnel. God does make things beautiful IN HIS TIME.
