Industrial robots are used for manufacturing. They are programmable and move on two or one more axes. Injection molding machine is a machine used for manufacturing of plastic. The In-Mold Labeling (IML) technology is the use of paper or plastic label during the manufacturing of containers by blow molding, injection molding, or thermo-forming processes. The label serves as the integral part of the final product. A robot is used to insure the IML technology during the process. In-Mold labeling technology is now widely used in plastic product decoration. In the past times, factories hired workers to put the label into the mold cavity by hand. But now, IML technology had been developed, so factories use robots instead of labors, and that to ensure human safety and to save labor cost. The major advantages of applying technology IML in plastic production are: 1. Greatly improving product security features, making it higher standards of corporate brand protection. 2. Making delicate appearance, and greatly improving product packaging grades. 3. Unbreakable, can be effectively waterproof, anti-oil, and anti-mildew.
