Shamara Howze is a licensed professional counselor and registered play therapist dedicated to supporting children and family's mental health. Shamara first showed interest in mental health while attending North Carolina Central University in pursuit of her bachelor's degree in psychology. In 2015, she began studies in the clinical mental health counseling program at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University to complete her master's degree. During this time her desire to explore creative approaches, techniques and modalities towards healing was nurtured.Shamara now has a business, Howze Your Health LLC., that develops fun games, tools and resources aimed to support the mental wellness of children and adolescents.
