Autorenporträt
Clara Sarmento, PhD in Portuguese Culture, develops her research on gender and intercultural representations as the Coordinator of the Centre for Intercultural Studies at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, where she is a tenured Professor and the Director of the Masters course in Specialized Translation. Throughout her career, she has received several international awards. She is the author of numerous essays, books and conferences on literary, gender and cultural studies. Sara Brusaca is a translator and teacher of English. She completed her degree in Applied Foreign Languages at the University of Minho, Portugal, and finished her master's degree in Specialized Translation at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. She has participated in several courses and seminars at the Imperial College of London and Oxford University. Silvia Sousa completed her degree in Communication and Specialized Translation at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. In the past few years, she has been an active member of the Center for Intercultural Studies, where she develops research on intercultural representations in Asia.
