Mohamed Thaver is a Mumbai-based journalist and has reported on crime for over a decade. He has worked with The Free Press Journal, Hindustan Times and has been with The Indian Express for the past five years. He has reported on gang wars in the city, terror attacks and followed crime trends closely. His work reporting crime has led him to deal with oddballs, from petty thieves to hardened criminals to unintentionally funny cops, interactions that have over the years prompted him to write this book.
