This is only possible whentrainee views are taken into account when selectingtraining topics. The book reports the results of anempirical investigation into school managers ratingof the importance of selected in-service schoolmanagement training topics. The results show thatschool managers regard all the training topics asimportant. However, the results indicate thatalthough school managers perform similar roles, theirratings of the importance of topics differsignificantly based on a number of background factorsincluding level of education, experience, type ofschool, and management level. These are indicationsthat when selecting topics for in-service schoolmanagement training these factors need to beconsidered. The book will appeal to academics andstudents of the broad field of Human Resourcemanagement andmore specifically, those interested intraining and development.
