This work focuses on the ongoing training of teachers in the area of Information and Communication Technologies developed within the scope of the School Association Training Centers. Based on exploratory and descriptive work carried out using a questionnaire, the aim is to contribute to reflection on the specific role that trainers can play in the challenging process of pedagogical use of the digital technologies available today. As there have been no previous studies on teacher trainers in this area in Portugal, we sought to find out who is called upon to carry out this role and what their perspectives are on integrating technologies into the curriculum, in order to better understand their role in this process.

Helena Felizardo has a Master's degree in Education (ICT in Education) and a degree in Teaching - Portuguese/French variant. She is currently working on her PhD in ICT in Education at the Institute of Education at the University of Lisbon. She is a public school teacher and teacher trainer in the areas of ICT and School Libraries.
