The author was born in upstate New York in 1948 where he went to school and grew up. Graduating from Berklee School of Music in 1971, he ended up with a Masters Degree in Computer Science and now lives in the Boston area programming computers when he's not writing fiction novels. In the summer of 1968 he played drums in Van Morrison's band. This is the story of that unforgettable summer.
