He created the lead role of Usnavi in In the Heights. Quiara Alegría Hudes (New York, NY) was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2007, for her play Elliot, a Soldier's Fugue. Other plays include Water by the Spoonful, 26 Miles, and a children's musical, Barrio Grrrl!
