Gary K. Olson lives in Maplewood, MN, with wife Jean, to whom he dedicates this book as "his encourager and love." His is a pastor, a drummer, a dad, and a grandfather. His work and life experience have acquainted him with deep loss and remarkable joy. About his writing he says, "I write feelings, images, and observations of life-mostly life in the margins."
