Critically acclaimed, this novelization of the Norse Myths by Cynthia King is again available! The gods, giants, dragons and messengers are here, their joys and anguish, their battles with evil from the dawn of life in Valhalla out of fire and ice, to the predicted death of Balder the Good, and the ensuing cataclysmic battle-Ragnarok-between Gods and Giants. "The author is to be praised for the skill and dignity with which she has handled this...grand and powerful tragedy of the gods."-Library Journal "Resonant"-Kirkus "Suggested for the small library"-ALA Booklist
