He has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from The Ohio State University and a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Chicago. He had a career in corporate Information Technology and currently lives in Dallas, Texas. He enjoys music, both serious and classic Rock. He reads classic Detective fiction and Science Fiction & Fantasy as well as trying to stay current in Physics. He began writing seriously about 2005. He has a blog, in-mid-world, where he writes about Science Fiction & Fantasy and remotely related topics.
