P.P. Raveendran retired as Professor of English and Director of the School of Letters, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. G.S. Jayasree teaches at the Institute of English, University of Kerala and is Director of the Centre for Women's Studies of the university. C.N. Sreekantan Nair (1928-1976) was a well-known playwright, short story writer, and editor of literary journals of Kerala.
