Autorenporträt
Michelle Denise Smith (M.D. Smith) is a native of West Lynn, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Ola M.(Lumpkin) Smith & the late Everett A. Smith, Jr. and big sis to her brother, Tyrone E. Smith. M.D. Smith is an entrepreneur, teacher, mentor, author, activist, motivational speaker, and retired professional basketball player. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School (1982) and Brown University (1986). M.D. Smiths professional certifications include the Mass Mentoring Partnership and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. For leisure, she enjoys spending quality time with family & friends, attending arts & cultural events, basketball, biking, creative writing, movies (especially classics), reading, tennis, traveling, and walking. In addition to this joint publication of her first (2) creative writing collections, M.D. Smith has completed (5) other creative writing collections. She has also, surprisingly, penned (50) gospel songs.
