Albert Payson Terhune (December 21, 1872 to February 18, 1942) wrote many stories. He is mostly remembered for his dog stories, particularly stories of his own dogs. His most famous book is Lad, A Dog (1919). While many of his stories and novels have been printed in book form, many have not been collected since their first publication.
