This scientific research on Abelmoschus esculentus (okra), harnessed the alternative means of in vitro propagation through shoot apical meristem (SAM) using required concentration of plant growth regulators and nutrient analysis (Protein, carbohydrate, moisture, oil, fibre and ash)and biochemical analysis ( chlorophyll, phenolics and flavonoids) present in the leaves and fruits. This scientific study showed SAM proliferation at 2.0mg/l BAP and more nutritional and biochemical contents in leaves compared to fruits.
