About the Book: There were a shortage in studies related to the in vitro production of phytochemicals from Rumex vesicarius L. however, it is an important economic and medicinal plant. Main targets of this study are: phytochemical studies (preliminary phytochemical screening, chemical investigation of successive extractives solvents, determination of total phenolics, determination of total flavonoids, determination of total anthraquinones and Quantitative estimation of Quercetin and Emodin using HPLC analysis) and biological studies (antibacterial and antioxidant activities) on all plant parts of Rumex vesicarius at different stages of growth and selected cultures of both in vitro and in vivo germinated seedlings, in vitro obtained calli and adventitious roots.
