Autorenporträt
Dena Parker Duke is a retired teacher and writer who started early stockpiling words out of instinct. She began with song lyrics. One day she realized that lyrics are poems. Though she never had any formal training or instruction in writing poetry or lyrics, she found herself pleasantly surprised to find them composting in the endless words of her journals waiting to be plucked out and formed into songs and poems. She lives in Boise, Idaho, with a good dog and a good man, and is lucky to live close to a very good son.
